Sherman Connelly from Salisaw OK, performed “Pride & Joy” and “Georgia On My Mind” worthy of $3000, a produced album project, promotional package, presentation to a major label and much, much, more… Thank you to everybody who competed this year! It was definitely the toughest competition of the past 4 years.

Many contestants won prizes as well:  A one hour complimentary voice lesson for those who made it to Round 3, the opportunity to record a complete song to professional, major label standards for those to made it to the semi finals.   All the finalists who did not win the competition received $500 each in addition to the above prizes!

Clearly, the mid-south is full of talent!  And, we’re looking forward to recording Sherman’s album, working with all of the finalists, semi-finalists and…. to begin planning The Great Arkansas Talent Search 2011!
